I've branched out into the production area of the entertainment industry as well! I've begun organizing photoshoots for local designers, advertising, writing for a local paper's online blog and an online publication and working on music videos and films. I find the extra creative outlet so fulfilling; I can't believe how happy this new new work has made me!

I was thrilled and flattered when I was offered the position of "Fashion Editor" for The Truth Quarterly-an online publication focused on providing intelligent, entertaining content with a local spin. I've been at it nearly a year now, so I'll break it into sections-each shoot's fashion spread willl have it's own spot here with links to the actual issue. With each issue of TTQ I try to provide my own political or social comment while providing beautiful photos of fashions that are more interesting than your run-of-the-mill chain store finds.

Most of my writing in this section of the magazine is extremely sarcastic. I feel that I can make poitical or social points backed up by research while still showing beautiful clothing  on a diverse group of people.

I try to promote local boutiques and designers while using new models every time. My goal is to provide readers with fashion inspirations they can actually use and promote businesses that are trying to do something special.

I decided with the first issue that I would make it a goal not to use the same models and photographers over and over. I did NOT want this project to turn into my own personal "high school yearbook" filled with only models that I am friends or fit into what society would consider 'model material.'  While I do use photographers that I've worked with in the past to shoot these pieces, I try to also work with new artists that come recommended by associates. I don't want this to be a clique. I want to give anyone interested in being involved the opportunity to do so. I feel that this also keeps things fresh-it forces me to go out of my comfort zone and work with new people and create new relationships.

For the Fashion section of the Spring 2008 issue of TTQ  I focused on unique, colorful pieces that transition from warmer days to chilly nights. I got a lot of the wardrobe from Vintage Vitae and Fab'rik.  My objective was to choose a diverse group of models and showcase their favorite parts of their bodies. Spring is the time when people finally get to lose the layers of clothing that they've been hiding under through the fall and winter months. I wanted to show off each model's unique beauty.

Make up was done by Lindsey Ritland and Ryan O'Mara did the photography.

The Curisso of the Bellezza Strana is my print obsession at the moment. I'm working exclusively with Live Boulevard Design  in Madrid, Iowa to create a series of character shots with the end result being a high quality coffee table book. There is so much more
toit that that...but we want to keep you guessing!
